Grandpa VinEL would not be possible without the love, encouragement, and support I’ve received along the way.

The main reason I began collecting Concanim (Konkani) records was because of my beloved grandmother, Maria Magdalena Rangel. Her love for music filled our home, and her stories of the old songs sparked in me a desire to preserve them before they were lost forever. Every spin of a record is a way of keeping her memory alive and honoring the heritage she passed down.

To my beloved family, (my father) Peter Pereira, (my mother) Esther Pereira, and (my sister) Danica Pereira, your love has been my anchor. Every step I’ve taken in this journey has been with the strength you gave me.

To my dear Goan family, Mr. Jeorge Fernandes and Mr. Elmano Dias, your encouragement and support gave me the push I needed to keep going. I will always be grateful for the faith you placed in me.

And to my mentor, Mr. Bharat Sheth, who not only taught me about the art of collecting but also about the passion and patience behind it, I am forever grateful. Your wisdom has inspired me to carry this mission forward, keeping alive the timeless sound of vinyl for generations to come. One day, I hope to become a great collector like you, preserving music with the same dedication and love that you have shown.
